In April 2022, the Housing Studies Association Annual Conference will be returning to Sheffield. The conference aims to be a hybrid event, including both face-to-face and online attendance.
Your health and wellbeing are our top concern. We will be following government guidance, venue, and broader requirements to help protect the health of all attendees, volunteers, and staff members. The Committee will be undertaking a full risk assessment of the conference venues before the event commences. We will be working with our suppliers to put in place appropriate measures to protect your health, including hand sanitation stations and appropriate ventilation. Please keep checking back for updates to our conference safety precautions.
We will be monitoring the government requirements for conferences and events regarding testing and vaccination and will provide an update to attendees as soon as we have more information. In the meantime, we ask that anyone wishing to attend in person takes a lateral flow test prior to attendance, and where applicable has received both vaccinations.
If restrictions change or if the Committee decide that the risks outweigh the benefits, we may need to move to an online only conference. We will endeavour to inform all attendees as soon as possible of any change to the conference programme.
Further information will be added to this page in due course.
