We are delighted to announce that from 1 April 2019, the new Managing Editors will be Ed Ferrari (Sheffield Hallam University, England, UK), Marietta Haffner (Delft University of Technology, Netherlands) and Hal Pawson (University of New South Wales, Australia).

Hazel Easthope (University of New South Wales, Australia) becomes our new Australasian Editor and Keith Jacobs (University of Tasmania, Australia) and Ryan Powell (University of Sheffield, England, UK) are our new Reviews Editors.

We have also established two new posts in our editorial team, with Beth Watts (Heriot Watt University, Scotland, UK) becoming our Social Media Editor and Andy Nygaard (Swinburne University of Technology, Australia) appointed as our Housing Economics Editor.

We are very pleased that Alex Schwartz and Yip Ngai Ming are continuing their respective North American and Asian Editor roles and that Kim McKee remains in her existing editor role.

The journal will also move from its current home at the University of Sheffield to the Centre for Regional Economic and Social Research at Sheffield Hallam University.

Outgoing Managing Editors John Flint and David Robinson said:
“It has been a privilege to serve as managing editors of Housing Studies. We would like to thank all our editorial, management board and Taylor and Francis colleagues and the authors and reviewers who all contribute so much to the journal’s success. We have also benefitted immensely from the support of the Trustees of the Housing Studies Charitable Trust. In particular, we wish to express our gratitude to Julie Lyle who is an outstanding journal manager. We are delighted that Ed, Marietta and Hal will be taking over the managing editorship of Housing Studies. They have all served the journal with distinction for many years and we know that Housing Studies will go from strength to strength under their leadership. We are very grateful to Hazel and Beth for their excellent contribution as reviews editors and are very pleased that both have accepted new editorial roles. We thank Ryan and Keith for assuming the Review Editors roles and would like to welcome Andy to our editorial team. “
