IPPR is committed to equality of opportunity and welcomes applications from all sections of the community. As an organisation engaging in critical debate about a wide range of progressive policy issues, we value the creativity and range of perspectives that a diverse team can provide.
IPPR is looking for a talented Research Fellow to join its Housing team (Energy, Climate, Housing and Infrastructure) in IPPR’s London office. The Research Fellow will work primarily on IPPR’s housing research programme and on other issues within the team including infrastructure, energy and climate where appropriate.
The Research Fellow’s duties will include: conducting research, writing reports, contributing to project development, building networks, fundraising, speaking at events on behalf of IPPR, contributing towards the development of the team’s work programme, and assisting with events.
To be successful, you will have proven research and analysis skills and a good knowledge of politics and public policy in the UK. These will be complimented by excellent written communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to manage your workload to meet deadlines; and a clear commitment to the work and values of IPPR.
You will combine a strong attention to detail with the ability to think creatively and imaginatively. With a graduate level qualification or equivalent training you will have a background in housing research and ideally knowledge of another policy area relevant to the energy, climate, housing and infrastructure team.
