The Housing Studies Association (HSA) is delighted to announce the award of bursaries to six housing scholars that will enable them to attend and present a paper at the HSA annual conference at the University of York, 15-17 April 2014. The bursaries, jointly supported by the HSA and the Housing Studies Charitable Trust, have been awarded to Philip Child (University of Exeter), Yingyu Feng (University of Bristol), Chris Foye (University of Reading), Elena Mattioli (University of Bologna), Alasdair Stewart (University of Stirling) and Dianne Theakstone (University of Stirling).
Ed Ferrari, Chair of the HSA, said “I am delighted that once again we have been able to support scholars to attend our conference. In particular, our bursary scheme enables us to pursue our strong commitment to early career housing researchers. I wish to congratulate the bursary recipients and I look forward to seeing them present their papers at our conference. I also wish to thank the Housing Studies Charitable Trust for their continuing support of this initiative. I am delighted that our partnership with the Trust and the provision of these bursaries has also been secured for our 2015 and 2016 conferences.”
